A Time to Mourn
Life is a journey where seasons of emotion color our path. Ecclesiastes 3 talks about the different seasons. While there are bright, cheery seasons of laughter and dancing, there are also the darker, greyer shades of weeping and mourning (Eccl. 3:4). Experiencing each of these seasons takes us on down the road of life. However, in John 16:22, Jesus promises His followers that sorrow isn’t the end of the road, but that because of His resurrection, we have the hope of never-ending joy.
